2015 China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Tourism Exhibition will be held in Guilin, a famous tourist city in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from May 29-31, 2015. Information from local government that all preparations are being carried out smoothly and it is expected to attract over 800 enterprises and more than 300 overseas buyers, as well as visitors from over 60 countries and regions.
It is generally known that China is a large agricultural country, though numerous peasants flood into cities to seek jobs these years, people in Longsheng County of Guilin hold fast to the land and still pay much attention to agriculture. Every year the Spring Ploughing Festival is held in Dragon's Backbone (literally Longji) Rice Terraces Scenic Area of Longsheng, attracting visitors from around the world.
Invited by the government of Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County and the scenic area Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces, I was lucky to represent VisitOurChina, Guilin Tianyuan International Travel Service Co., Ltd, with other colleagues from other major travel agencies in Guilin, to participate the grand meeting at Longsheng, the opening ceremony of Longji Street, last Wednesday, January 28th, 2015.

On December 15, the Wanda Group signed an agreement with the municipal government of Guilin, plans to invest 24 billion yuan building a mega cultural tourism city of Guilin. It is so far the largest tourism investment in Guangxin Zhuang Autonomous Region and will greatly improve the quality of China tours to Guilin.
