Yesterday morning when I passed by the Sanlidian Roundabout (Guilin) on my way to office, I found that the maple leaves had turned red - thats really beautiful the leaves shaking slightly in many carriages. I did not spend much time enjoying it, but it did remind me of some other great places for red leaves watching in Guilin or other cities in China. As many tourists want to experience unusual China tours, red leaves watching may be a great choice.
“If you didn’t watch ‘Where are we going, dad?’ there would be no common language with others”, though exaggerated the reality show "Where are we going, dad?" broadcasted by a Chinese provincial TV is really popular in China at present. It is a great place with extraordinary sightseeings and I had a happy and special weekend. The theme of the trip was reaping sweet potatoes on the local farmland after which we had nice lunch, baked sweet potatoes, and took photos around the Silver Cave.
The old town of Xitang - one of the six ancient town of South China. It is a famous water town, and I always believed it was like an old story in a Chinese ink and wash painting. But it is actually far more brilliant than what I know. Personally, I think it possesses both Chinese old characters and modern west lifestyle. If you have enough time, it is a great place for you to have a leisure stroll, experiencing middle class life in a Chinese ancient town.
