Last Wednesday, British Prime Minister David Cameron visited Chengdu. He visited the Dufus Thatched Cottage and Jinli Street, and had Chengdu Hotpot. Chengdu is the only city in Western China that has direct flights to London. It is the capital of Sichuan Province, and is famous for its food, teahouses, beautiful attractions, and a rapidly growing economy. With its development it has become a very modern city, but it still holds onto its traditional roots. Locals take great pride in their culture and traditions.

Yesterday morning when I passed by the Sanlidian Roundabout (Guilin) on my way to office, I found that the maple leaves had turned red - thats really beautiful the leaves shaking slightly in many carriages. I did not spend much time enjoying it, but it did remind me of some other great places for red leaves watching in Guilin or other cities in China. As many tourists want to experience unusual China tours, red leaves watching may be a great choice.

If you have been to Guangxi Province, China, you may already know the incredibly beautiful Guilin and Li River. But you may know little about the cuisine tradition of Guilin. Today I will introduce a kind of Guilin food and its culture - Oil-tea. According to the recording documents, Oil-tea can be dated back to Chinas Qing Dynasty (1636-1912) when it was called Refreshing Tea.
Last Saturday I had the opportunity to participate in our travel agencys annual outing to Silver Cave/ Yinzi Cave at Lipu County, Guilin. It is a great place with extraordinary sightseeings and I had a happy and special weekend. The theme of the trip was reaping sweet potatoes on the local farmland after which we had nice lunch, baked sweet potatoes, and took photos around the Silver Cave.
Jin Tai Xi Zhao (金台夕照) - a peaceful place in the busy streets. It is established in 2008 and located at No.15, Xizhao Temple Street, Chongwen District, Beijing. The famous Xizhao temple (has a history of over 600 years) stands inside it, based on which the club made its theme divine will, poetic quality, enjoyable.
