Time flies so fast that it is time for us to welcome the brand new 2012. Looking back to the past year, we can factually remember and feel every detail of our work overtime for handling inquiries and emails at the office in the evening, double checking and ensuring booking information with suppliers, helping customers in their course of travel with various problems by phone, etc. Most of the time we were as busy as a bee, but all of the tiredness turned into joyousness of feeling relieved finally when all these problems were successfully solved.
Let's reap them again next year!

November in Guilin was surprisingly lovely this year. I guess it realized that it’s annual harvest time of our taros and sweet potatoes in Lipu, which is about 105 km away from downtown Guilin. The interesting experience of harvesting and the delicious taros and sweet potatoes of last year still engrave on everybody’s mind, so all of us were full of enthusiasm when hearing it’s the harvest time again! Thanks to the convenient road network, 1.5 hours’ drive is enough to take us from Guilin to the farmland near the Silver Cave in Lipu County.

The time has come for me to write my farewell blog article and say goodbye to you all dear bloggers and lovers of China. But I would start it all by replacing the word "farewell" by a more suitable one: "goodbye" or – like I would say in French – "au revoir", for I believe there’s no real end at such an experience I had here with all the VisitOurChina.com team.

The OTM Indian 2011, India's only travel Mart focusing on leading outbound travel show, has been held from February 18th to 20th in Mumbai and from February 24th to 26th in New Delhi respectively. It brought together all segments of the global travel industry, from over 50 countries, to network and transact business with a large cross-section of travel trade. Being one of the leading travel agencies in Guilin, VisitOurChina, English department of Guilin Tianyuan International Travel Service Co., Ltd, has participated the event with honor.
According to our company's custom, we would organize a group outing before the Chinese New Year (in lunar calendar) comes. And staffs of Guilin Tianyuan Travel Service Co., LTD, which VisitOurChina belongs to, enjoyed a happy 2011 group outing this week. We chose Nanning, capital of Guangxi Province, as the destinations. Besides the biggest highlight of our trip the New Year party, we also visited the famed Detian Transnational Waterfall, Tongling Great Canyon and Mingshi Countryside.

What a great year I have had in Guilin filled both highs and lows hard study and great travel experiences. Ultimately it is not the places that I visited and travelled to during my twelve month stay in Guilin it was more the people who I travelled with.

Time always flies fast and it is the end of a year's busy and happy work again. In this whole year, English-speaking tour guides of VOC (VisitOurChina) devoted themselves to their job wholeheartedly as before, with a common goal of offering faultless andunforgettableservice to the guests.

We held our annual meeting party from January 22nd to January 23rd, 2010 in Ziyuan County of Guilin. It was cold and rainy but we had a good time still. In China, climbing high mountains around the New Year period is a tradition and the climbers usually climb the mountain with good wishes for the coming new year. To welcome the 2010 tiger year (in lunar calendar), we climbed the Bajiaozhai Mountain of Ziyuan County....
