We have been back home from our trip to China, a few days ago and still have not got over with it.

Sadly it is back to work tomorrow and for the kids it’s back to the university.

I am glad that we made the trip 26days long as this gave us enough time to see what we wanted and at same time did not feel that we had overstayed the trip.

Each city we visited was a unique city in terms of its heritage, culture, people and scenery.

Of course at each of these cities we had a different driver and a different guide who brought their own uniqueness to the trip.

As an Indian descent from Australia who also happens to be a vegetarian we were worried that we will have difficulty in getting the type of meals that we would have at home.

This fear did not materialise, as we got the right mix of Western, Indian and Chinese vegetarian dish.

The hotel at Beijing was at a beautiful location so it was very accessible to shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was great.

This was the same at Xian. However, whilst the Bell Tower Hotel is at the perfect location but it could do with basic renovations such as painting, changing its carpets etc.

The hotel at Chengdu was fantastic but it’s a pity that the hotel did not have an English speaker at the restaurant. Hotel Greenland was near the walking distance to restaurants, and shops.

We were very well looked after Lijiang and the hotel also prepared breakfast for us to take as we were departing early for Guilin.
 

Guilin Bravo Hotel, like the Hotel Greenland is in a great location and also their staffs are fantastic and ever helpful. It was a great luxury. Thank you for making fresh arrangement for the hotel in Yangosho as our chosen hotel had close down. Even though it was right on the West Road it was very quite.

As you know we had objected to the Hotel in Hanghzou but accepted it after my co -worker from the same city informed us that it would be ok. In fact its food was absolutely great but could do with make over of carpet and its furniture. It was the only hotel we had our dinner.

The hotel at Suzhou unfortunately uses the rooms for smokers and with deodorant sprayed for the non smokers. Their meals cost happens to be higher than an average hotel in Australia.

We could not fault the hotel at Shanghai.

We had a right balance of day activities and also for the evenings. Shows like Tang Dynasty show, Song Dynasty show, acrobats etc were fantastic. They have all been very memorable.

Also I was very pleased to have met you in person so that I could give my views of the tour.

I wish Visit Our China organisation a great success. They did a fantastic job to make arrangements and also were in constant contact to monitor progress.
 

For our next visit to China I would definitely utilise you once again and would be very very happy to recommend anyone else.
