Situated in the center of Zhangye, the Giant Buddha Temple (Dafo Temple) really worths a visit. It was first built in 1098 (Western Xia Dynasty) and named after the statue worshiped inside. The temple is also known as “Wofo Temple” (Sleeping Buddha Temple). It’s an important historical site on the Silk Road and the landmark of Zhangye. There has a rare religious temple of Western Xia, the largest indoor sleeping buddha in Asia, rare buddhist scriptures, and thousands of collections of cultural relics.

I do not know what exactly the Aer Mountain looks like except the advertisement 'Aer Mountain Purified Water'. But all the friends around recommend it as a great travel place. Before I leave, I need to do some preparation and start with a note. The lake catches all your attention. It appears differently in different time of the day or season. You need to come to the lake in person, otherwise my description will never be rightly pointed on its real beauty.

Located in Jiuzhaigou County of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan, well known as the paradise, Jiuzhaigou National Park is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. My expression may be quite simple and abstract and carries little conviction. But actually I can never find proper words to paint a picture.

My friend Winnie recently joined a tourist group and went to her dream land, Shangri-La. When she shared her feelings and photos with me, my tidy of thoughts and feelings fully flows out. Actually, since I saw a picture of Shangri-La in my second year at university, I have been dreaming of there. The blue sky and white clouds make it an extraordinary pure land. Recently, a mouthwatering food Matsutake which appeared on the hot documentary A Bite of China increased my curiosity for Shangri-La. What she experienced in Shangri-La inspired me to write down this article.

Known as a section of the scenic water system of two river and four lakes in Guilin, the Mulong Lake (木龙湖), literally Wooden Dragon Lake, is an artificial lake connecting the Li River in the east and channeling the water into the downtown area of the city. Leaning against the several hundreds old Song city wall and the Diecai Hill, the lake was named after the Mulong Hole on the upper part of the hill, and so is the 45-meter-high Mulong Tower and the Mulong Arch Bridge stretching over the Mulong Lake. On the other and of the bridge there are waterside pavilions where actresses in Chinese ancient dress perform classic Chinese music show in the evening.
