Having been away for 5 weeks my work is rather crazy and I am a bit snowed under trying to catch up.

There is no need to thank us for letting you arrange the tour, it is rather we who are thanking you. Everything was arranged beautifully and the tour itself was wonderful. I'd like to thank you for all your assistance, forbearance and perseverance. We've done quite a bit of travelling and I have had many dealings with agents, suppliers, hotels etc in person and over the net. While most of them were competent and delivered what we asked for most of them, especially over the net, tend to a be rather impersonal and limit their areas of concern to the only service they are supplying and being paid for.
You on the other hand have not, merely, been highly efficient, co operative and proactive you have enhanced the experience with a personal touch and warmth that has made it far more enjoyable and rewarding. Also your willingness to assit with aspects of the trip which were not, strictly, the responsibility of your company or yourself has been very much appreciated. Sissi, please pass this up the line in your office. It's important that management knows which of their employees are going the extra mile and building the reputation of the company. The trip you organised for us was absolutely wonderful and the guide, Jessica, who you assigned to us was, without doubt, one of the very best guides we've ever had; and we've had quite a few having been travelling since 1976, on and off.
