Lovely to hear from you and thank you for following up.

On the whole, we really enjoyed the trip you organised for us.  We felt that there was a good balance of activities and that we saw most of what was there to see. 

In Xian, we had Anthony as our tour guide and Chen as our driver.  Both of them were excellent in terms of their attitude to customer service, their knowledge of the local area, and willingness to be flexible to meet our particular needs/request. 

Anthony was an excellent guide.  His English was very good and his knowledge of both modern and ancient Xian was superb.  He really invested time in making sure that we were entertained, comfortable, and well looked after throughout the trip.  We asked to see more of the local life in Xian and Anthony went out of his way to show us every aspect of this.  We ate in local restaurants, walked around in local neighbourhoods, and visited local shopping areas.  We did not feel like tourists but rather like friends visiting from overseas.  Nothing was too much trouble for Anthony!

The car provided was very clean and well maintained and it was obvious that Chen took a lot of pride in his vehicle.  He was very accommodating in terms of what we wanted to do and respectful of our wishes.

I would be more than happy to provide reference for both of these individuals. 

Just for your information - the Sofitel hotel was excellent and we felt, was really good value for money.

Overall organising of tour:

In spite of some of our experience in Beijing, we felt that the whole tour was very good.  We particularly appreciated the care and attention you, Gina, gave us.  We felt that you genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and were willing to be flexible where required.  I particularly want to thank you for how you responded to Rob's cancellation at the last minute. 

We felt that your response showed compassion and understanding and we appreciated the refund. One area for improvement overall is with regards to the meals provided as part of the standard tour. We found plenty of really good local restaurants where food was high standard, prices were reasonable, and they were all quite clean.

I am sensitive about my photographs and therefore, would prefer not to have them on your website.  However, I am happy for you to use any part of this feedback as testimonial for your work because I would recommend you to my family and friends.
