We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend Visit Our China to anyone interested.
Hi Sissi,
Thank you so much for organizing our trip to Tibet, Hong Kong ect. We had a wonderful (if not tiring) time and would not hesitate to recommend Visit Our China to anyone interested.
The hotels were more than we expected (with the exception of Zhao An Hotel in Shanghai - as we already mentioned clean but very musty smelling room). Tibet was wonderful and the guide Jake with driver Mr. Pam were excellent. Had no trouble with altitude in Lhasa. The Yangtze cruise was also great - what an excellent crew the President No 6 has!! Chengdu was disappointing as we did not have enough time there and felt very rushed with the guide. The Hotel was exceptionally nice in Chengdu but as it was very late when we arrived (due to a two hour wait on the runway) and leaving so early next morning, we never really got time to enjoy the hotel. Of course, the twelve hour wait in Chengdu airport (due to the effects of the typhoon) was just one of these things that happen. Lijiang with the tour guide Linda and driver Mr. Lu made up for the frustration at Chengdu - would have liked another day in Lijiang - very interesting place with excellent hotel room.
Guillin was extremely interesting too, and despite the steady rainfall on the Li River Cruise, a beautiful spot in China. Thank you for the lunch and it was lovely meeting you all.
Hong Kong was amazing - again another good hotel in Kowloon - Stanford Hillview - perfect walking distance to the Harbour Front . Our day trip to Macau was fantastic - I do not remember the guide's name unfortunately but she was absolutely perfect and intent on showing us as much as could be seen in one day. Very enthusiastic about her island!! The driver was also very good.
So, I am attaching a couple of photos taken at the restaurant. We took over 500 photos on our trip - please feel free to use us as a reference if needed.
Thanks again, Sissi and say hello to Sandi for us.
