Yangtze Star is 91.5 meters long and 16.4 meters wide with a draft of 2.6 meters. Installed with engines of 3480 h.p., she can sail from Chongqing to shanghai all the year round with a maximum speed of 30 km per hour in still water. The M.S. Yangtze star is built in Qingshan shipyard, which is affiliated to China Changjiang National shipping Group Co. On board of the ship, there are two presidential suites, 64 standard cabins, 2 deluxe suites, 4 deluxe single, and one special room for disabled.

Downstream: Chongqing → Yichang (4 days)

Day 1

Board the ship from 17:00 to 22:00 for overnight accomodation(Dinner is not included).

Day 2

(08:00) Departs Chongqing.
(14:00-17:00) Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City or New Wanxian County.

Fengdu, situated on the northern bank of the river between Zhongxian and Fuling, the city was depicted as the City of Ghosts in two ancient, classic Chinese works "Monkey King" and "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio".
 
Wanxian, famous as the place where thousands of rivers collect and all kinds of business converge. It is one of the ten biggest ports of Yangtze River and the center of economy, education, culture and transport in three gorges area.

Day 3

(09:00-13:30) Boat excursion to Shennong stream .

Shennong Stream, started from the southern hill of the Mt. Shennongjia, it is a tributary of Yangtze River and a great place to experience clear water, various waterfalls, hanging alleys, primitive small boat, Tujia nationality customs and karst caves.

Day 4

Disembark at Yichang

Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest water conservancy project constructed by man. The construction of the dam formally began on December 14th, 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction was competed in 2006. It is 2309 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Tourists can get access to the top of the dam.

Downstream: Yichang → Chongqing (5 days)

Day 1

Board the ship from 17:00 to 22:00 for overnight accomodation(Dinner is not included).

Day 2

(06:00) Departs Yichang.
(13:00-16:00) Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site.

Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project undertaken by man . The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Tourists can get access to the top of the dam.

Day 3

(09:00-13:00) Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges.

Lesser Three gorges, consisting of Longmen Gorge, Bawu Gorge and Dicui Gorge, is 60 kilometers long and very shallow with lucid water.With many steep mountain peaks, it is even much more beautiful than the Three Gorges. The mini three gorges of Madu River,5 kilometers long,is situated at the Madu riverside of the branch of Daning River. 

Day 4

(0800-11:00) Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City.
