Currently the newest ship on the Yangtze River, entered service in September 2008. Every Century Diamond guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. Day 1
Board the ship from 18:30 to 21:30 (Dinner is not included).
Departing Chongqing around 21:30.
Day 2
Shore Excursion to Shibao Pagoda.
Shibaozhai is famous for its architecture which consists of three parts: the gate, the pagoda and the temple on the top. The nine-storey red wooden pagoda with upturned eaves is 50m high, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty. Its top give a magnificent view over the river.
Day 3
Pass through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge;
Shore excursion to Shennong Stream or Shennv Stream after lunch;
Evening pass through five-step ship locks at Three Gorges Dam.
Shennong Stream, started from the southern hill of the Mt. Shennongjia, it is a tributary of Yangtze River and a great place to experience clear water, various waterfalls, hanging alleys, primitive small boat, Tujia nationality customs and karst caves.
Shennv Stream, originated from Wushan County and located on southern bank of Wu Gorge, it is a tributary of Yangtze River and a great place to experience clear water, primitive valleys, and original ecological residents.
Day 4
Morning shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam.
Afterwards pass through the rest of Three Gorges.
Afternoon optional shore excursion to Three Gorges Tribe;
Cruising along flat lands of middle reaches of Yangtze.
Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest water conservancy project constructed by man. The construction of the dam formally began on December 14th, 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction was competed in 2006. It is 2309 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Tourists can get access to the top of the dam.
Day 5
Shore excursion to Jinzhou ancient city wall and Jinzhou Museum;
Evening Captain’s Farewell Dinner with Chinese Banquet style.
Day 6
Disembarking in Wuhan after breakfast.
Downstream: Wuhan → Chongqing (6 days)

Day 2
Shore Excursion to Chibi, a well-known ancient battle field;
Cruising along flat lands of Yangtze middle reaches.
Chibi, located on the southern bank of Yangtze River, is a battle field ruin of the famous Battle of Chibi happened in 208. It is the only surviving ancient battle field of China’s famous battles maintaining its original appearance, and was inscribed in the key protected cultural relic list.
Day 3
Entering Xiling Gorge in the morning and optional shore excursion to Three Gorges Tribes;
Shore excursion to ThreeGorges Dam in the afternoon;
Pass through five-step ship lock in the evening.
