Distribution Characteristics
The distribution characteristics of nationalities in China are: one minority live compactly in a small community; several minorities live together in a vast area; some minorities live in the Han areas, while some Han people live in the ethnic minority areas. This situation comes from the long-term historic development of the communication and moving of all nationalities. Among these provinces and regions, Yunnan Province is the one with the most minorities with a number of 25.
