Of all the Chinese dishes, Lu (short for Shandong Province) dishes, Chuan (short for Sichuan Province) dishes, Su (short for Jiangsu Province) dishes, Yue (short for Guangdong Province) dishes, Min (short for Fujian Province) dishes, Zhe (short for Zhejiang Province) dishes, Xiang (short for Hunan Province) dishes, Hui (short for Anhui Province) dishes, are commonly accepted as the “Eight Famous Dishes” in China with their own unique tastes.
