Hi Sissi

We are finally home. I want to take a minute to thank you for your assistance in making our visit to China a success. I want to compliment you on your enthusiasm and the pride of China that was part of everything that you presented to us. Our visit to Guilin was wonderful. The night tour on the lakes that you suggested was one of the highlights of our trip. We have told everyone about that experience. While we were with you, you made sure that we experienced as much of your area as we could and you were a wonderful guide.

We also must compliment Cathy for her part of our experience in Xi’an. We found the Banpo Neolithic Village Museum to be outstanding and of course the Terra Cotta Warriors was the greatest experience. We have been to see many sites around the world and the Warriors are one of the best discoveries ever. Cathy was extremely helpful in making the experience as good as it could be. And of course our Bicycle ride on the wall was a grand experience. Thank you Cathy.

I know we were not in Yichang very long, but I must compliment our guide on her knowledge of the history of the area. Our visit to the small museum was excellent. Her explanations of the exhibits were excellent.

Sissi, thank you and your guides again for providing us with some wonderful memories of China.     

On a sad note, Elva was not well on the trip. She caught a cold in Xi’an and it progressively worsened during the trip. The trip up to the Rice Terraces were very difficult and you were very patient and allowed us to slowly make the climb to the top. After that Elva was getting weaker each day. By the time we arrived in Korea, she was very sick. She is in hospital here at home with pneumonia and is now slowly recovering her health.
