On learning the news that bamboo rafting on Li River is officially permitted, Guilin Tianyuan International Travel Service Co.,LTD organized a field trip to the essence of Li River, the section of which we were going to cruise begins from Yangdi Pier to Xingping Landscape Area in Yangshuo. Another purpose is to investigate some restaurants and hotels in Yangshuo. As a member of its English department - VisitOurChina, I had the great honor to carry out the site investigation with seven collegues of other departments.

Around 11 km apart from the county seat of Yangshuo, the Yulong Bridge Bamboo Rafting Scenic Spot at Yulong Village of Baisha Town, the first and only tourism observation in China set up by the World Travel Organization on July 26, 2005, is also known as the highlight section for bamboo rafting in Yangshuo. Built in 1412, Yulong Bridge is the biggest single-arched bridge in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the origin that the name of the picturesque Yulong River comes from.

Thank God, the rainy days of Guilin came to the end in April and girls in mini-skirts declared the coming of summer! Pleasant weather, footloose holidays - that always make people want to do something relaxing, especially in Yangshuo, a place where people never need to worry about how to kill time. The weather forecast told us that we would have a rainy holiday; fortunately, it was still cloudy after our lunch on 1st May, so we decided to take a chance to ride along the way to the Moon Hill to enjoy the nice countryside scenery and pick strawberries.
