Tengwang Pavilion

Known as the first building along the Xi River and a must-see attraction in Nanchang, Tengwang Pavilion has been hailed as one of the great works of Tang Dynasty, a dynasty renowned for its dedication to culture and arts and this reputation for incredible architectural design continues to this day.

Towers, Pagodas and Bridges

Shengjin Pagoda / Rope and Gold Pagoda

Built in Tang Dynasty with a height of 58.7m and a base circumference of 33.8m, Shengjin Pagoda is the city's most wondrous ancient construction and represents a work of ground art. It is said the pagoda once housed several precious artifacts including gold ropes, ancient swords and Buddhist relics.

Nanchang August 1st Uprising Museum

Built on the headquarter of Nanchang Uprising of Communists led by Zhou Enlai, He Long, Ye Ting, Zhu De and Liu Bocheng and occurred on August 1st of 1927, the museum is one of China's most important commemorative museums and the home of several important artifacts and annals from the period.
