Time is running, quicker than we expected. Indeed: after our return from China, Laos and Myanmar we passed the christian holidays in France, came back for some busy weeks in Swizerland, made our luggage end of March for a historical tour in the South of Turkey, came back for a busy month at home and are leaving with some friends next week for Istanbul, the cultural capital of the year. Then it's time for our residence in France where we will spend the late arriving spring until the high season starts there mid July. August is the moment to change our Swiss home and go back to the city of Winterthur where we found a nice flat in the middle of the social life.
 
We really appreciated the good wishes from VOC for the New Year and we hope you passed the Chinese New Year in good shape and ready for new adventures.
 
With regard to the questions we got from VOC about our tour we only can say that everything was fine. The reservations for hotels, flights and trains worked very well. The guides we met were all very kind and competent. And the kitchens we discovered all over the regions were really delicious and for our sake many times better than the Chinese restaurants in Switzerland.
 
The only thing we regretted was that three weeks were too short to see all places of interest in China, and that means we are coming back. Not this year, but we think in about two years we would like to see all the regions we missed and spend at least one month in your beautyful country. We will take contact with you when we made up our program and profit again from your experience.
