Dear Sandy,

I just had to take a few minutes to thank you for the wonderful trip you planned for us.  Each day was just lovely.  We are especially enjoying Beijing, where our guide, "Laura", couldn't be any better.  She is lively, engaging, and helpful in every way.  We have learned SOOOOO much.  In fact, all the local guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful - there was never a question that they couldn't answer in great detail.   They all ordered us plate upon plate of gourmet food that we somehow managed to gobble up to the last bite -- I don't believe we've EVER eaten as well or as much as we have on this trip. 

We just returned from the Beijing acrobatic show which Laura helped to arrange for us.  The show was wonderful - we were out of breath just to watch it.

After 9 days of rather gloomy and wet weather, we arrived to find Beijing in bright sunshine.  Tomorrow, our last day, we will visit the great wall.  Then we will have to say goodbye to your lovely country.  This will be hard to do.

Thank you one last time for making our trip so memorable.  Without your excellent guidance, I'm sure that we would not have been able to see nearly as much in the short time we had available.
