Day 1

Arrival in Shanghai

Transfer via: Flight on your own arrangement

Arriving in Shanghai, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our local guide. The rest of the day will be free for your own purposes.
 

Day 2

Sightseeing: Yuyuan Garden, Jade Buddha Temple Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, the Bund and Nanjing Road

In the morning you will take a relaxing walk to the lovely Yuyuan Garden, a beautiful garden in the south of the Yangtze River. Wandering through it, you will find pavilions, corridors, streams, courtyards as well as many other natural features.

Then we will head to the Jade Buddha Temple. The old-time and classical architectural style makes the temple unique and inimitable in this modern city. Both, the Sitting Buddha and the Recumbent Buddha are carved with whole white jade. If you're lucky, you can watch the monks serving a ceremony in a side room.

Today we will also have a visit to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which is the first kind of exhibition center in China showcasing a city’s development.

Finally we will take a walk to the famous Nanjing Road and the Bund. They are among the most recognizable architectural symbols of Shanghai and therefore a must-see when visiting Shanghai.

Sightseeing: Zhujiajiao Water Town, French concession region.

After breakfast, we will drive to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. Embed between the lake and mountain, it was called Shanghai's Venice and the pearl stream by the lakeside of Dianshan Lake. It is Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, one of the fist four major towns in China. The waterside Zhujiajiao Ancient Town south of Yangtze is a town composed of both natural landscapes and historic relics. Clean and simple paths, towering big trees, streams flowing through lanes and streets and reach Dianshan Lake… Lots of residences have experienced great changes for more than a thousand year. It helps us find our lost dreams and lead us to return to our inner self.

Afternoon, we will drive back to Shanghai city town and visit Shanghai French Concession Region, a district in the city and was the foreign concession of France in Shanghai. Covering what are today Xuhui District and Luwan District and occupying the centre.

Transfer via: Flight on your own arrangement

Today will be free for your own purposes, until our guide will escort you to the airport for your next destination.
