Everest Base Camp in Tibet is Formally Electrified

Everest Base Camp in Tibet is formally connected to the power a few days ago after years of being intermittently electrified by solar energy and electric generator at the camp. Located on the foot of the Mt. Everest, the camp is used by mountain climbers for acclimatization during their ascent and descent. The over two-year’s electricity connecting project will also benefit 21 villages on the way to the camp, and Rongbuk Monastery, the monastery with highest altitude in the world can use safe and reliable power from then on as well.
