Day 1
Arrival Urumqi (D)

Day 2
Urumqi/Burqin (B,L,D)
Transfer via: bus arranged by us
sightseeing: Kalamaili Ungulate Wildlife Reserve, Huoshao Mountain and the Guerbantonggut Desert
Drive to Burqin after breakfast and visit Kalamaili Ungulate Wildlife Reserve, Huoshao Mountain and the Guerbantonggut Desert in the center of Junggar Basin (the second largest desert of China and the largest fixation and half-fixation desert covering 4.88 square kilometers) on the way.
Accomodation: three-star hotel of Burqin or similar
Tips: the bus ride takes about 12 hours on this day so please have a good rest in the first day. You should take enough water on the way because the climate of Xinjiang is relatively dry.
Day 3
Burqin/Hemu (B, L, D)
Transfer via: bus arranged by us
Drive to Hemu in the morning and visit Hemu. Hemu attraction was praised as one of the six most beautiful ancient village of China and the "private plot in the backyard garden of the god".
Accomodation: hotel of Hemu
Tips: the bus ride takes about 4.5 hours on this day; please take care of yourself when shooting; there is big temperature difference between its day and night, so please take thick clothes with you.
Day 4
Hemu (B, L, D)
Sightseeing: Hemu
Shoot the morning sceneries of Hemu: white birches, pine trees, fogs, villages of Towa people, wooden residences; Hemu in the afternoon is more impressing.
Accomodation: hotel of Hemu
Tips: full-day photo-shooting. Please wear thick in the cold morning.
Day 5
Hemu/Black Lake (B, L, D)
Transfer via: riding
Ride to the Black Lake after breakfast and visit the beautiful alpine flowers, lakes, grasslands and snow mountains there.
Accomodation: tent
Tips: take care of yourself when riding; no running to avoid accidence; please cover yourself well with quilt at night.
Day 6
Black Lake/Kanas Lake (B, L, D)
Transfer via: riding
Sightseeing: Black Lake, Kanas Lake
Shoot the beautiful sceneries of the Black Lake in the morning. The Black Lake is also named 1000 Lakes with big and small lakes in good order. Visit the deer farms and overlook Kanas. Then ride to the famous Kanas Scenic Spot to visit the Moon Bay, Fairy Bay and Dragon Bay. To the north of Kanas, there is the snowy Kuytun Mountain and towering Friendship Mountain.

Tips: full day riding, please be careful.
Day 7
Kanas/Burqin (B, L, D)
Transfer via: bus arranged by us
Sightseeing: Fishing Pavilion, Tuwa Ethnic Village, Multicolored Beach
Visit the Fishing Pavilion and listen to the tales of the lake monsters. The Fishing Pavilion is also called Cloud Pavilion or Rain Pavilion because the sky seems quite close here. The snowy Friendship Mountain, located in the joint border of China, Mongolia, Russia and Kazakhstan, is towering in the northeast. Among the mountains, there is blue lake waters melt from the snowcap. The color of the lake changes with the changing clouds, just like phantasmagoria. When it rains, the whole lake was covered in a mist-a separate world. After visiting Tuwa Village, drive to Burqin and shoot the sunset at the gorgeous Multicolored Beach.

Tips: the bus ride on this day takes about 3.5 hours; please respect the local customs of Tuwa People when visiting the village of Tuwa Ethnic Group.
Day 8
Burqin/Wuerhe/Urumqi (B, L, D)
Transfer via: bus arranged by us
Sightseeing: Demon City
Drive to Urumqi after breakfast in the morning and visit the 10 square-kilometer Demon City. More than 10 million years ago, Demon City was a huge freshwater lake and the paradise of aquatic animals: thick plants grow by the lakeside and primitive animals including Wuerhe stegosaurus, plesiosaur and dinosaur lived there. Then the land was formed after two times of huge crustal movements.
Accommodation: three-star hotel of Urumqi or similar
Tips: the bus ride this day takes about 12 hours; do not climb the Demon City and pay attention to safety.
Day 9
Urumqi (B)
Be transferred to the airport after breakfast and return home.

E. Hotels: Hotel Based on two persons sharing one room with twin beds. All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

I have just come back from the most amazing 4 day visit to Guilin and Yangshuo that was organised by VisitOurChina. It was my first trip to China, and researching everything online felt daunting and overwhelming until I communicated with Lisa from VisitChina. She planned my entire trip and thought about every single detail. She even noticed that my flight arrival time wouldn’t allow me to take the train from Guangzhou to Guilin, so she organised a very convenient hotel for me to stay in so I could catch the right train the next morning. Little details like that made my trip completely carefree. I trusted Lisa, and she did not disappoint — she planned everything perfectly. My guide, Janet, spoke English very well and was a wealth of knowledge, which made travelling in a foreign country so much easier and more interesting. Without Janet and our driver, I would have had so much difficulty getting around. I really would have been frustrated and lost without her. Janet made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. She was friendly, patient, and always willing to help us with anything extra we needed or any additional places we wanted to go. She was so knowledgeable and gave us interesting information as we toured the places. That’s something I wouldn’t have got if I had organised a trip on my own. We visited Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill, Elephant Trunk Hill, and Janet took us to a local place to try the famous and delicious Guilin rice noodles. On the second day, we went to see the spectacular Longji rice terraces and visited the traditional Yao village. On the third day, we went on a cruise along the majestic Li River and stayed in Yangshuo, which became my favourite part of the trip. The bamboo rafting along the Yulong river was the highlight — such stunning and serene scenery. Contacted Lisa from Visit Our China to arrange a 9D8N tour of Guangzhou Guilin for a group of 8. I provided a list of places to visit and Lisa was able to craft out the itinerary. We also made some changes along the way as one of the members had difficulty walking. The member even contacted Lisa to ask for advice on alternative locations to visit. Lisa's response is within 24 hours, crystal clear and very open for discussions. The tour itself ran perfectly with English speaking guides in both locations.
