- This is a very special China group tour. This tour visits the most popular destinations within Tibet. It will allow you to view and experience the culture, people, art, history, and sites that have made Tibet such a popular destination. The architecture of Tibetan Buddhist temples and monasteries is unique and each one is completely different, allowing for different experiences. You will be able to savor the local cuisine and tea of Tibet while you travel through it. You will also get to visit the Everest Base Camp, and get a close up look at the highest mountain on Earth.
Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Lhasa
You will be met and picked up from the train station or airport and transferred to reserved hotel in Lhasa. Then have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude.
Stay tonight: 3*Hotel
Day 2 Lhasa (B, D)
Morning section to visit the famous Potala Palace and explore the grandest of this myriad chapel. Afternoon we will visit the holist temple in Tibet, the Johkang Temple, and at Barkor Kora, which is the most famous street in Tibet, we can buy Tibetan traditional or religious goods.
Stay tonight: 3*Hotel
Day 3 Lhasa (B)
Today, we will visit two important monasteries in Lhasa, the Drepung Monastery and the Sera Monastery. If we are very lucky, we may even come across Sera Monastery’s Monks debating which was held in the courtyard at around 3:00-5:30 in the afternoon.

Day 4 Lhasa/ Gyangtse/ Shigatse (B)
Passing by the green farmland of Nyangchu Valley, Yamdro-tso lakes, karo-la glacier roadside at 4960m, we move westwards to the second biggest city Shigatse, where spiritually hosted by Pamchan Lama. And in Gyangtse, Kubum Monastery is also a famous spot we can not miss.

Day 5 Shigatse/ Lhatse/ Tingri/ Rongphu (B)
Drive westwards the Friendship way to Tingri. From Tingri to Evrest Base Camp the road is very rough. If it is in clear weather, we can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which is 8000m high or more.
Stay tonight: Rongphu Monastery Tent or Guest House
Day 6 Rongphu /Evrest Base Camp/ Tingri/ Shigatse
Early in the morning to see the sunrise from Rongpuk then to view Mt.Everest. Hiking up or taking bus to the top of the photo point to take pictures of the splendid- Mt. Everest. Then we will drive back to Shigaste.
Stay tonight: 3*Hotel
Day 7 Shigatse/Lhasa (B)
Before driving back to Lhasa, we will visit the largest Monastery in west Tibet, the Tashilunpo monastery, as the last but famous historic sites for your Tibet tour.

Day 8 Departure (B)
Your tour guide and driver will help to drop you off at the Lhasa airport for your flight departure.
