12 Days China Cultural and Historical Tour

Day 1 TBA / Beijing (/)

Transportation: international flight booked by the tourists;

Arrive in Beijing by air, be met at the airport and

 transferred to your hotel. Free at the rest of the day.

Accommodation: King Parkview Hotel ***

Day 2  Beijing (B, L)

Be picked up in the morning and then have a group tour to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)

Be picked up at your hotel lobby

 and then have a group to the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Ming Tomb. Be picked up at your hotel lobby in the evening and transferred to the airport, check in your hotel.

Accommodation: Ibis Style Hotel***

Day 4 Beijing / Datong (B)

Transportation: morning flight

Check out your hotel and catch your flight to Datong, Be met at Datong airport and visit  the visit the Yungang Grottoes, the Huyansi Temple, the Night Dragon Screen and the City Wall. Check in your hotel after the tour.

Accommodation: Hongqi Hotel***

Day 5 Datong (B)

Drive to Hunyuan County and visit the Hanging Temple, and then drive to Ying County to visit the Wooden Tower. Drive back to your hotel after the tour.

Day 6 Datong / Taiyuan (B)

Transportation: Morning train K7801 (08:30/11:35)

Check out your hotel in the morning, be picked up by the driver and then transferred to the train station, catch your morning train to Taiyuan. Be met at Taiyuan train station and visit the Jinchi Temple and the Shanxi Provincial Museum. Check in your hotel after the tour.

Accommodation: Yihe Hotel ***

Day 7 Taiyuan / Pingyao / Xian (B)

Transportation: overnight train with soft sleeper 2095 (21:00/07:03+1)

Check out your hotel in the morning, and then drive to Pingyao, visit the the Qiao Family Compound  and the Pingyao Ancient Town (the Rishengchang Financial Former Bank,  the Ming and Qing Street, the Ancient City Wall ect are all included) . Be transferred to the train station and catch your overnight train to Xian.

Accommodation:  on the overnight train with soft sleeper

Day 8 Xian (B)

Arrive in Xian in the morning, be picked up at the train station and visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, the Grand Mosque, the Muslim Quarter, the Ancient City Wall. Check in your hotel after the tour.

Accommodation: Ibis Styles Hotel ***

Day 9 Xian / Luoyang (B)

Transportation: Bullet train with second class soft seat;

Check out your hotel in the morning, be picked up and drive to suburb to visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, drive to the train station in the afternoon and catch your bullet train to Luoyang. Be met at Luoyang train station and transferred to your hotel.

Accommodation: Victory Hotel ***

Day 10 Luoyang / Dengfeng (B)

Transportation: air-conditioned private car

Be picked up at your hotel lobby in the morning and then visit the Shaolin Temple, and then drive to Dengfeng and enjoy the Zen Music Shaolin Grand Ceremony. Stay overnight in Dengfeng.

Accommodation: Changyue Hotel ***

Day 11 Luoyang / Beijing (B)

Transportation: Bullet train with second class soft seat G574 (14:43/19:53)

Check out your hotel and visit the Lomgnen Grottoes. Be transferred to the train station and catch your bullet train to Beijing. Be met at Beijing train station and transferred to your hotel.

Accommodation: King Parkview Hotel ***

Day 12 Beijing / TBA (B)

Transportation: international flight booked by the tourists

Check out your hotel before 12:00, be transferred to the airport and catch your flight to your next destination.
