China Southern Launches Nanning-Taipei Direct Flights

China's largest carrier, China Southern Airlines Company, recently launched regular direct flights on the route linking Nanning,the capital city of Guangxi, and Taipei, further enhancing communications between Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Taiwan.
Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region currently has three weekly direct flights to Taipei. On May 20, 2009, the first direct charter flight was launched on the route between Guilin City of Guangxi and Taipei. The initial flights were run once a week.
The new Nanning to Taipei direct flights are being operated twice a week.
In addition, another three flights a week are being operated from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to Taipei via Macau.
