Day 1
Lanzhou Arrival
Transfer via: Flight on your own arrangement
When you arrive in Lanzhou, your local English speaking guide will meet you and then transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free, you can have a rest or just explore the city by yourself.
Day 2
Lanzhou to Xiahe (B, L)
Sightseeing: Sangke Grassland
Visit the Sangke Grassland and a Tibetan Family. Sangke Grassland is bordered by the Daxia River and famous for its excellent pasture and frequent magnificent Buddhist ceremonies. Lush green grass and colorful flowers form a natural carpet covering this expansive area. Groups of sheep and yaks plus white tents form a beautiful picture.
Day 3
Xiahe to Lanzhou (B, L)
Sightseeing: Labrang Monastery.
After breakfast, we will go to visit the Labrang Monastery. As one of the six great monasteries of the Gelukpa (Yellow Hat) Sect, Labrang Monastery is Tibetan Buddhism's most important monastery town outside Tibet itself. It is famous for thousands of statues of Buddha made of gold, silver, copper, and aluminum. Seven large-scale summon ceremonies are held a year here.
This afternoon, we will drive back Lanzhou.
Day 4
Lanzhou / Departure (B, L)
Transfer via: Flight on your own arrangement
Sightseeing: Ancient Water Mill
After breakfast, we will start today's visit to Ancient Water Mill. Water Mill is a kind of ancient implement for irrigating at past. This Mill Wheel was imitated by Lanzhou Government for reappearance. It is made up of Waterwheel with double wheels, round weir, water grindery and Kursaal.
After lunch, you will be transferred to Lanzhou airport to take flight departure.

C. Private Transfers: Among airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in the above cities by the private air conditioned vehicle.
D. Guide and Driver: As outlined in the itinerary, a well selected English-speaking guide and driver will accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
E. Hotels: Hotel Based on two persons sharing one room with twin beds. All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
F. Luggage Transfers: Between airports and hotels.
G. Service Charge & Government Taxes.
H. Travel insurance in mainland China during the above travel period.
I. Arrangements: The tour cost includes planning, handling, operational and communication charges.
Our 8-day Guilin Natural Scenery Ethnic Minority Discovery tour with Visit Our China was truly a wonderful and unforgettable experience. She was always easy to reach, responsive, flexible, and very personable. The hotels she selected for us were all clean, comfortable, and of excellent quality. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very patient with all of our questions. She was attentive to our group's preferences, adapted quickly to our requests, and was always willing to give us extra time whenever we wanted to stay longer at a particular location. Our bus driver was also highly experienced and drove very carefully, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Thanks Lisa! It was a great trip. Luther is an excellent guide, very helpful and proactive. Ms Xuli is very knowledgeable, unfortunately our mandarin is functional at best, so she had to explain a lot of the cultural references she was using. Simon managed to last minute closures and changes well. We learnt a lot, ate a lot (really liked the lunch at Yibin, ciqikou and dinner Lizhuang). Next time I will factor in more time for shopping.
