Full Day Macao Tour

Pick-up point and time: Some urban hotels in Hong Kong or our designated place between 7:00am and 9:15am

Itinerary:

You will be picked up from your hotel then start the tour.We will go the Macao by ship in the morning then back to Hongkong in the evening.

Today we will visit the Ruins of St. Paul.The ruins now consist of the southern stone façade — intricately carved between 1620 and 1627 by Japanese Christians in exile from their homeland and local craftsmen under the direction of Italian Jesuit Carlo Spinola — and the crypts of the Jesuits who established and maintained the Cathedral. The facade sits on a small hill, with 66 stone steps leading up to it. The carvings include Jesuit images with Oriental themes, such as a woman stepping on a seven-headed hydra, described by Chinese characters as ' Holy Mother tramples the heads of the dragon'.

We will also go pay a visit to the Penha Hill.Penha Hill is the third highest among the hills in Macao. Penha Hill is 62.7 meters above sea plane. Known as the Bishop´s Hill in the annals of colonial history, this leader amongst the popular destinations in Macao is identical with the city´s colonial clout and authority. Forts, buildings, residences of the Penha hill are wonderful sights.

The Barrier Gate is another must-see sightseeing in Macao.It is located at the northern end of the Macao is the main entry gate to Zhuhai in Guangdong Province. It is the gate by which travelers from Macao enter mainland China. All travelers are required to have the same travel documents (for example your valid passport and Chinese visa ) which are required when entering China via other cities such as Beijing, Shanghai or others. Its operating hours is from 7:00 to 24:00.

Seeing the Kum Tam Temple is included in our trip today.The temple also houses some beautiful statues and Buddha images. At the back of Kun Iam temple, there are terraced gardens and the first Sino-American treaty (Wong Ha Treaty) signed in 1844 on one of the stone tablets here.

After the tour to those above sights,we will go to feel the world famous Macao Casino. Perhaps you will be very lucky today?!

After the tour you will be transfered back to your hotel and finish the tour today.
