We had a wonderful holiday in China because of you and your guides' help, advice and assistance. We found your company through internet searching and reading other peoples reviews. The good reviews were indeed correct. Gina you replied very promptly to all my questions and understood what I needed to do. You helped with all bookings and arranged excellent airport transfers with our guides, and excellent drivers. The tours were very interesting and fun. We chose to do tours on our own as a couple and they were good value for money. In Chengdu we stayed at the St Regis which was superb. Our guide was Snow who was very interesting to talk to and gave us so much information and also understood when we just wanted to look around rather than touring. Snow was an extremely professional and lovely young woman. The highlight of our time there was the Panda Research Centre and also the Opera with the face changing which was well worth the easy walk there and hour watching. I would not miss that either. We took a taxi to a hotpot restaurant which was very good to experience but in busy traffic and heavy smog with the windows wound down I don't think we would chose that again but instead eat closer to our hotel. 

In Xining our guide was Jorry who was newer to being a guide but very interesting and helpful also. The monasteries were fascinating and the Tibetan Medicine Museum another highlight- please try to go here if you can.  

The best meal we had was in a food court just beside the San Want hotel- underneath a building, and we amused the locals by begin the only westerners there. We chose a dish in the Muslim section that we shared that had meat, onions and potatoes and it was delicious. The San Want hotel was reasonable (certainly not able to be compared to the St Regis) with very nice staff. We particularly enjoyed a quick game of table tennis and then pool there one evening!

    

I would highly recommend VisitOurChina and definitely use their services again if returning to China.

We were unlucky enough to leave a laptop at the airport security check when leaving Xining and our guide was absolutely fantastic to go a long way out of his way to pick it up and eventually find a way to get it back to us. We are very grateful to Jorry and VisitOurChina.
