This tour is truly grand! It features all of the best China has to offer, from incredible natural beauty, to its colorful cultures and traditions. This is the tour of a lifetime. You will explore the Imperial history of Beijing, the ancient past of Xian, capital to over 10 Chinese dynasties. You will travel down the Yangtze River, past the Three Gorges, and Guilin and Yangshuo, home to some of the most breathtaking scenery on Earth. You will visit Guangzhou and Hong Kong, two of China’s most vibrant and beautiful cities.

Day 01 Arrive atBeijing( Meals: -/-/- )

On arrival you will be met by our CITS guide and transferred to your hotel. You will be free for the rest of the day.

Day 02 Beijing( Meals: B/L/- )

A full day excursion by seat-in coach to the Great Wall - the landmark ofChina. It is one of the most amazing feats of human labor. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along theSacred Waywith giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644AD).

Day 03 Beijing( Meals: B/L/D )

A morning tour ofTian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and thePalaceMuseum, known as theForbidden City; the complex of imperial palaces are home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Some of the grand halls have been used as museums for fine collections of Chinese treasures. After lunch you will be driven to visit theSummerPalace, a former summer resort for the royal family, and take a boat ride on itsLakeKunming. This evening you will be treated to a deliciousBeijingroasted duck dinner.

Day 04 Beijing-Xian ( Meals: B/L/- )

Your sightseeing this morning is theTempleofHeaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors prayed for good harvest. It is the largest temple complex remaining inChinatoday. After lunch, take a two-hour flight toXi'an, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of theSilk Road. A city tour of the ancient city wall, one of few well-preserved ones inChina.

Day 05 Xian ( Meals: B/L/- )

This exciting day of sightseeing will include the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first Qin Emperor, and the Bronze Chariots. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 AD. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained fromIndiaby the eminent monk Xuanzang,. Remainder of day is at leisure.

Day 06 Xian-Chongqing ( Meals: B/L/- )

This morning, visit theShaanxiProvincialMuseumwhere you will discover howXi'anbecame the cradle of Chinese culture. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will be transferred to the airport for a brief time flight toChongqing, the mountain city. You will check in the cruiser and depart the mountain city this evening.

Day 07 Yangtze Cruises ( Meals: B/L/D )

Navigate Qutang Gorge(8km), the Third gorge of the Yangtze. Shore excursion to theGhostCity- Fengdu or Shibaozhai Pogoda.

Day 08 Yangtze Cruises ( Meals: B/L/D )

Sail through Wu Gorge and the West section of Xiling Gorge. Shore excursion to the Shennong Lesser Gorges.

Day 09 Yichang-Shanghai ( Meals: B/L/- )

Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, known as the Big Dam. Navigate the east section of Xiling Gorge (76km), the first gorge of the Yangtze. Arrive at Yichang after lunch. You would take the flight toShanghai, a cosmopolitan, bustling and heavily populated city inChina. You are free for the remainder of the day.

Day 10 Shanghai ( Meals: B/L/- )

Your sightseeing this morning features a tour of theYuyuanGarden, the old area of the city, and a stroll along the lively waterfront, known as the "Bund". After lunch, a visit to theJadeBuddhaTemple. An acrobatic show for your evening entertainment after dinner.

Day 11 Shanghai-Guilin ( Meals: B/L/- )

This morning, visitShanghaiMuseum, one of the largest inChina, which houses a collection of 120,000 pieces of cultural relics. After lunch, you fly toGuilin, a city known for its beautiful landscape, the spectacular pointed mountains, the winding rivers and the limestone rock formation. You are at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day12 Guilin( Meals: B/L/- )

A day to enjoy a downstream cruise on theLijiangRiverand be exposed to the indescribable beauty and scenery surrounding it. Lunch is served on board. Disembark at Yangshuo, a small town with any stalls selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Visit local markets before returning by coach toGuilin.

Day 13 Guilin-Guangzhou ( Meals: B/L/- )

A city tour this morning includes descending into the most extraordinary scenery underground in theReedFluteCave, and climbing up the Fubo Hill for a panoramic view of the city. After lunch at a local restaurant, take a one-hour flight toGuangzhou, capital ofGuangdongProvinceand the southernChina's most dynamic and developed commercial center. City sightseeing featuresSixBanyanTreeTempleand then see the city's free market.

Day 14 Gaungzhou - Hong Kong ( Meals: B/L/- )

This morning, a tour of Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and Ancestral Temple of Chen Family. after lunch, you will be transferred to the wharf for your onward journey toHong Kongby jetfoil.
