China's Tourism Administration Signs Strategic Agreement with Bank

China's National Tourism Administration and China Development Bank, one of the nation's three central banks, have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing to jointly promote the country's tourism industry.
 
The minister for CNTA, Shao Qiwei, and Chen Yuan, the secretary of CDB, attended the signing ceremony.
 
According to the agreement, CNTA will actively organize, coordinate and promote CDB's independent loan audit policy and will adhere to a market-oriented policy, so as to promote the tourism sector.
 
The two parties will promote tourism businesses in provinces and autonomous regions including Tibet, Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, and Yunnan. In the meantime, tourism sector in the country's major development areas including Hainan Province, the Pearl River Delta, and the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone will also be a focus.
 
In addition, regular communication and cooperation systems will be established between the two sides.
