Macao promotes tourism in Malaysia

The Macao Government Tourist Office ( MGTO) said Thursday that it has launched the "Macau Festival 2009" in Malaysia's capital Kuala Lumpur, with the aim to showcase Macao's cultural characteristics and promote tourism.
The event, which lasts from May 20 to 24, aside from the miniature exhibition of Macao's World Heritage sites, performances and activities such as Portuguese and Chinese folk dances, will also be staged, according to the MGTO.
There was also a special booth for sales promotion of tours to Macao by six Malaysian travel agencies, with a wide variety of holiday packages offered to the Malaysian customers, the MGTO said.
