The 5th Leshan Giant Buddha Tourism Cultural Festival kicked off on Oct. 30 in the city of Leshan in southwest China's Sichuan Province. A number of cultural and tourism promotion activities will be held during the five-day festival to attract global attention to cultural connotations and conservation issues of this world's tallest Buddha statue.
