Hunan Provincial Museum to Be Closed for 3 Years from June 18th

Hunan Provincial Museum announced on June 11th that it will be closed temporarily for 3 years from June 18th this month due to its rebuilding and extending project.
Hunan Provincial Museum, renowned for Mawangdui Han Tomb, has been free open to the public since 2008. But the its capacity and essential equipment are not in proportion to the increasing number of visitors. Up to now, the project has been carried out and the museum plans to stop opening to the public from June, 18th for the sake of the safety of both visitors and cultural relics.
