Tourism New Zealand, Air New Zealand Enter Zhejiang Market
updated: 2011-04-07
Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand, the country's national airline and flag carrier, have jointly announced their entry into the Zhejiang market.
They have also teamed up with local partners in Zhejiang, such as China International Travel Service Limited's Zhejiang branch, to launch customized travel products, which include a series of tourism projects.
In recent years, China has become one of the fastest-growing tourist sources for New Zealand, only behind Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
In 2010, Chinese arrivals in New Zealand rised by 20% year on year to 122,000, including 7,999 Zhejiang tourists.
