China Red Tourism Cultural Festival Opens in June 2011

The 2011 China (Hunan) Red Tourism Cultural Festival is scheduled to be unveiled in late June at the Mao Zedong Bronze Statue Square in Shaoshan, Hunan province.
Co-organized by the National Tourism Administration and Hunan Provincial Government, the festival is part of the 90th anniversary celebrations of the communist party. It will promote red culture in Hunan Province and showcase the province's rich red tourism resources.
The organizers are now soliciting schemes for the opening ceremony and related activities.
