China CITIC Bank Unveils South African Travel Card

China CITIC Bank recently cooperated with the South African Tourism Board to launch the first South Africa travel card, in a bid to cope with rising demand from domestic market for traveling to the African country.
When launching the card the SATB said that considering Chinese tourists' habits, they would unveil a series of tourism products with a South African theme of South Africa together with China CITIC Bank.
Zheng Haiying, a top executive responsible for credit card business at CITIC Bank, commented that they would continue the deep cooperation with the South African Tourism Bureau in a bid to seize more market share in China.
Official statistics showed that from January to October 2010, the total inbound tourists from China to South Africa jumped by 65.5% from a year ago.
