CITM 2010 Kicks Off in Shanghai

The opening ceremony of the 2010 China International Travel Mart was held at Shanghai's New International Expo Center on November 17.
CITM is organized by the China National Tourism Administration, Shanghai Municipal Government, and the Civil Aviation Administration of China. Participants in come from all sectors of the travel industry including international and domestic tourist organizations, travel agencies, hotels, airlines and related travel companies.
The annual event, which is held from November 18 to 21, covers an area of 57,500 square meters and has 2,243 exhibition booths.
On November 18 and 19, it is exclusively opened to trade visitors for business talks, while the last two days will be open to the public.
The largest professional travel mart in Asia is held in Shanghai and Kunming on alternate years. It draws the attention of people in the tourism industry.
