Day 1
Arrival Chengdu
Upon your arrival in Chengdu you will be met by your local guide and then be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2
Chengdu (B, L)

Sightseeing: Wuhou Memorial Temple, Jinli Street, Sanxingdui Ruins
Today we will fist visit Wuhou Memorial Temple. The Temple is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the Martial Marquis of Shu in the Three Kingdoms. His outstanding intelligence place Zhuge Liang above all emperors, generals, and ministers in history.
Afterwards you will take a walk along Jinli Street which is particularly representative for this city. It is recorded that as already during Qin Dynasty (221 BC - 206 BC), Jinli Street was the most famous place for baldachin - a rich, ornate cloth. During Shu Kingdom (221-263) it was one of the busiest commercial streets. Hence, it is known as 'First Street of the Shu Kingdom'. In order to reclaim the street's prosperity of former days, it was restored with contributions from the Wuhou Memorial Temple and was opened to public in October of 2004.
After lunch, we will drive to Sanxingdui Ruins. In the long-history city there are green hills and fresh water, the scenery is beautiful, the climate is gentle, the product is rich. The name Sanxingdui means the three-star mounds at the ruins, indicating three stars in company with the moon. The scientific discoveries and excavation to Sanxingdui unveiled the history of 5,000 years of ancient Shu.
Day 3
Chengdu (B, L)
Program: Panda Keeper experience at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base
Today's Panda keeper experience at the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base will be a highlight of you trip.
Schedule for One day:
8:30-8:35 Check in
8:35-10:30 Perform keeper's duties at the enclosure.
10:30-11:30 Tour of the Panda Base, and learn more about giant pandas and biodiversity.
11:30-13:30 meal and break
13:30 Gather and go to the enclosure.
13:30-14:30 Perform keeper's duties.
14:30-15:20 Visit Panda Museum and watch giant panda documentary.
15:20-15:30 Certificate issued
15:30 Depart
Note: Schedule may change in the event of unforeseen circumstance. Pandas have their own behavior and life style. Some of your keeper work may change as not to disturb their peaceful life.
Your Keeper's duties may include:
1. Feeding the pandas (fresh bamboo, apple or panda cake).
2. Cleaning the enclosure to give the pandas a clean and comfortable place.
3. Collecting and weighing the feces. (This is the most effective way to determine the health of the panda.)
4. Cleaning bamboo. (It is important to give pandas clean food.)
5. Cleaning the panda. Rinse the panda with cool water and see how much they enjoy it, but just in very hot summer.
6. Weighing fresh bamboo. It is important to know how much is offered to pandas, how much they consume, and the weight of their feces. Proper consumption of bamboo is critical to the health of pandas.
Day 4
Chengdu / Departure (B)
Transfer via: Flight – on your own arrangement
Today you can enjoy some leisure time until your guide will pick you up and transfer you to the airport from where you will take the flight to your next destination.

E. Hotels: Hotel Based on two persons sharing one room with twin beds. All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

What a wonderful tour trip I and my wife had in China. Thanks to Visitourchina, a professional Tour Agency that helped to plan and execute this trip for us. Our memories cant forget that experience of walking on that terrifying but safe Gulong Canyon glass bridge, the Reed Flute Cave in Guilin left us mouth agape as it was the first to see such kind of huge and beautiful cave. The boat cruise in Li River and its wonderful mountainous scenery showed us how nature can be so beautiful. Beijing gave us a glimpse of China history and that was a mesmerizing moment for us. The Forbiden city, the Temple of Heaven and the famous Mutianyu Great wall all displayed the wonderful ancient masterpieces in architectural designs. I did a solo trip to Huangshan mountain near Shanghai and I cannot recommend this company enough!
