Itinerary:

You will be picked up from your downtown hotel in Xi'an then start the tour.

Today you will visit Shaanxi History Museum, the first large-scale modern national museum. The Museum covers an area of 65,000 square meters, and its collection of cultural relics reaches 370,000, dating from the simple stone that human used at the initial stage in ancient times down to all kinds of implements in social life before 1840, and the time span covers more than one million years.

You will also see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is 64 meters high, and survived from an 8.0 earthquake in Ming Dynasty with only moderate damage to the top. In the pagoda, the well-known Buddhist Master Xuanzang stored scriptures and statues he had brought back from India in Tang Dynasty.

Having a walk on Muslim Street will be included in your tour today. Muslim Street is a famous snack street located in the city center with various mouthwatering halal foods and typical Xi’an snacks operated by Muslims. Being a favorite haunt for locals, the street is also a fantastic place to explore dazzling souvenirs as well as the real life of Xi'an people.

Besides relaxing yourself at Muslim Street, there will be also a chance for you to see imitated Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses by a shopping stop, though the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses scenic spot is not included in the tour.

After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel and your half day group tour is concluded.
