Itinerary:

You will be picked up from your hotel in Xi'an downtown then start the tour.

Firstly you will be driven to have an exterior visit of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is 64 meters high, and survived from an 8.0 earthquake in ancient China's Ming Dynasty(1368-1644) with only moderate damage to the top. In the pagoda, the well-known Buddhist Master Xuanzang stored scriptures and statues he had brought back from India in Tang Dynasty(618 -907).

Your next destination will be the Xi’an Ancient City Wall, on the 600-year-old City Wall, you will have about one hour to explore this one of the largest and well-preserved ancient military defensive systems in the world. The wall was built in Tang Dynasty, after extension in Ming Dynasty, it has the length of 13.7 kilometers, height of 12 meters, width of 12-14 meters at the top and 15-18 meters at the bottom.

After having lunch at a local restaurant, you will head to visit Shaanxi History Museum, which is the first large-scale modern one in China. The Museum covers an area of 65,000 square meters, and its collection of cultural relics reaches 370,000, with the time span covering more than one million years.

The tour will then move on to the beautifully decorated Bell Tower and Drum Tower Plaza, which mark the centre of the ancient capital with their garish colors and elegant architecture.

Having a walk on Muslim Street will be also included in your tour today. Muslim Street is a famous snack street located in the city center with various mouthwatering halal foods and typical Xi’an snacks operated by Muslims. 

After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
