Xiahe Transportation

Xiahe is located in the southwest of Gansu Province, and is subordinate to Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The whole Gannan Prefecture is only served by roads but no railways.

Buses run among counties in and around Gannan area are easy to find. To reach Xiahe from Lanzhou (which is about 270 kilometers away from Xiahe County), travelers can take coaches at Lanzhou South Station.
