Day 1 Arrival Chengdu
Upon your arrival in Chengdu you will be met by local guide and be transferred to your hotel. And then you will visit Wuhou Memorial Temple. The Temple is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the Martial Marquis of Shu in the Three Kingdoms. His outstanding intelligence place Zhuge Liang above all emperors, generals, and ministers in history.
Afterwards you will take a walk along Jinli Street which is particularly representative for this city. It is recorded that as already during Qin Dynasty (221 BC - 206 BC), Jinli Street was the most famous place for baldachin - a rich, ornate cloth. During Shu Kingdom (221-263) it was one of the busiest commercial streets.
Day 2 Departure Chengdu (L)
Today we will visit the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base, which was built to imitate the wild ecological environment of pandas. Covering a space of 92 acres with a green coverage of 96 percent the base created a perfect ecological environment for the living and breeding of pandas and other precious and rare wild animals. It breeds over 20 pandas and lesser pandas, black-necked cranes, white cranes and others.
Finally we will take a walk around People's Park, and enjoy the beautiful nature there.
Afterwards you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to the next destination.

Contacted Lisa from Visit Our China to arrange a 9D8N tour of Guangzhou Guilin for a group of 8. I provided a list of places to visit and Lisa was able to craft out the itinerary. We also made some changes along the way as one of the members had difficulty walking. The member even contacted Lisa to ask for advice on alternative locations to visit. Lisa's response is within 24 hours, crystal clear and very open for discussions. The tour itself ran perfectly with English speaking guides in both locations. Will for sure contact VOC again for future trips we may consider. We contacted Lisa for a trip to Changbaishan early september 2025 and an other one to Zhangjiajie in October. Lisa offers were in line with our expectations. She has been continuously helpful before and during our trips. Everything went well during both trips and our guides managed to arrange suitable visits, despite the not so good weather conditions we faced. Aa a whole we did really enjoy those trips.
