Preserve Old Buildings in Original Style All rooms in Secret Garden have been renovated in accordance with Chinese Feng Shui principals and have been decorated to retain and tastefully enhance the original nature of the houses. They contain traditional local artwork or antiques & furniture of original design, made by local carpenters, reusing materials from old buildings or old timber wherever possible.

Creative Combination of Chinese and Western All houses are renovated by using local labour and materials wherever possible. A lot of the bricks, roof tiles, beams & wood boards are bought from places where old buildings have been demolished to make way for new ones. Each of the 11 rooms has spacious, private bathrooms designed to modern western standards.
