China Southern Launches New Codeshare With Kenya Airways

Kenya Airways and China Southern Airlines are launching a free sale codeshare on four air routes from April 1, 2010.
The four routes are the Guangzhou to Dubai and Beijing to Dubai routes operated by China Southern, and the Dubai to Nairobi and Bangkok to Nairobi routes operated by Kenya Airways. The first two routes are scheduled for seven flights each week and travelers can transfer at Dubai via Kenya Airways' flights to Nairobi which fly eight times a week and then fly on to 45 African destinations. The Bangkok to Dubai route is also flown seven times a week.
In 2009 Kenya Airways and China Southern launched codeshare cooperation on their Guangzhou to Dubai and Dubai to Nairobi routes. And Kenya Airways is planning to expand its network in Africa by adding 14 new destinations in 2010.
