Millennium Hotel Chengdu Celebrates Its Grand Opening

Millennium Hotels & Resorts has officially opened its newest upscale five-star hotel in China with the grand opening of Millennium Hotel Chengdu.

Shaun Hammond, the general manager of Millennium Hotel Chengdu, expressed his excitement at the opening of the hotel saying that with a unique culture and heritage and commercial and tourism growth he expects that Chengdu will attract more and more business travelers. He added that with their trademark personalized service and luxurious amenities, which are synonymous with the Millennium brand, he was confident that the hotel would become one of the most preferred star-hotels in the city.

The 360-room property is centrally located in Chengdu and surrounded by array of restaurants, clothing boutiques and recreation facilities with guest rooms having views over Shenxianshu Park and the nearby ZiShan Road which is also known as "The European Street". For transfers and tours the hotel offers its guests the services of its London taxi cabs.

For meetings and events there is a multi-functional meeting room and nine meeting rooms equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities. And for rest and recreation the hotel provides its guests with a spa and personal wellness center, a health club, and gymnasium facilities with an indoor lap pool.
