Le Meridien Xiamen Has Soft Opening

With the soft opening of Le Meridien Xiamen, Starwood now has seven Le Meridien hotels in the Greater China region.
Developed by Dalian Wanda Group, Le Meridien Xiamen Hotel is the only international hotel located in the city mountain park of Xiamen. The brand new city-resort property is close to the town center in Xiamen, near Gulang Island, and has easy access to Xiamen International Airport. Built on the slope of Xianyue Hill, Le Meridien Xiamen is surrounded by woodland and has 348 guestrooms, including 12 villa suites, all with private balconies overlooking either the hotel courtyard or the mountain.
The hotel has two restaurants, the Latest Recipe, an all-day dining restaurant offering western, continental, and Asian dishes; and Le Mei Chinese restaurant offering Cantonese and Chao Zhou cuisine. The Latitude 24 lounge serves a selection of sweets and homemade snacks, a champagne high tea, and cocktails.
For meetings, conferences, or functions, the hotel has 10 meeting rooms with over 2,000 square meters of space, including an 842-square-meters pillarless grand ballroom with natural daylight. Facilities for exercise and relaxation include a fitness center, an indoor heated swimming pool, a spa, a jogging and hiking trail along the Xianyue mountain park, and a hillside tennis court.
