All Yinchuan Parks Become Free for Visitors

The Yinchuan Forest Park, which is Yinchuan's last entrance-charged park in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, commenced offering free admission for all visitors from Jan. 7, the capital city's mayor Wang Rugui said in a response to a municipal congress member's proposal for the move.
 
The annual ticket revenue of the park is estimated to decrease by 4 million yuan (US$633,052), which will in replace be funded by the municipal government.
 
Built in June 2007, the park offers more than 40 species of trees, waterfalls, an aquarium fish pool, a fountain stage, two football pitches and an outdoor theatre which can accommodate 5,000 audiences.
