The first photo exhibition of intangible cultural heritage in the minority ethnic areas of Sichuan Province was held in the provincial capital of Chengdu.
Sponsored by the Sichuan Provincial Intangible Culture Heritage Protection Center and Sichuan Society of National Culture and Art, the 10-day show that ended on Wednesday displays more than 170 photos by more than 30 photographers. They vividly depict the intangible cultural heritage of Sichuan's Tibetan, Yi, Qiang, Naxi, Lisu and Tujia people.
Sichuan is home to over 4.8 million minority ethnic people, who live in nearly 63 percent of the province.
