The China Ice and Snow Animation Fair will kick off on Jan 8 at the Harbin Ice and Snow World in Heilongjiang province.
The fair aims to enrich daytime scenic spots in the park by holding exhibitions and performances, as people used to visit the park in the evening to watch ice lanterns. Many scenic spots use the 10 Chinese cartoon images as themes. The fair will hold a series of events, including a firework performance for the opening ceremony, winter camp, cartoon forum, Cosplay competition, ice and snow beauty pageant, painting competition and an animation ice sculpture competition.
