Disneyland Resort in Shanghai, the first Disneyland theme park built on the Chinese Mainland, unveiled part of its design Wednesday. The operator reveals this Disneyland will be the largest, and most interactive park in the Disney family.

Several pictures are posted on the web site of the Walt Disney Company, giving the general public a rough idea of what its main castle will look like. The Shanghai Disneyland castle won't be named after a princess, but rather will be owned by the collection of Disney storybook characters. It is now temporarily called the "Fantastic Fairytale Castle".

About 400 designers and engineers have taken part in the design work. Quite a nember of them are from China. Throughout Shanghai Disneyland, classic Disney characters and storytelling will blend with traditional Chinese customs and celebrations, to create a unique experience for guests in Shanghai.
