Hong Kong Disneyland Attracted 5.2 Million Visitors in 2010
updated: 2011-01-18
According to Hong Kong Disneyland, it had attracted a record of more than 5.2 million visitors in 2010 — 13% up on the previous year.
The park attributed the growth to the increasing number of visitors from Southeast Asian. The number of visitors from India rose by 80% year on year, and they stayed longer and spent more than those from the Chinese mainland.
Hong Kong Disneyland will soon launch a new event "Celebration in the Air: Flights of Fantasy Parade", which is aimed at giving visitors an unexpected experience.
Opened in 2005, Hong Kong Disneyland is the smallest of Disney's five theme park resorts.
